Partner Sonja J. McGill has joined the “Leaders Circle” for the Center for Women in Law (CWIL) at the University of Texas at Austin School of Law. The only center of its kind in the U.S., CWIL describes itself as “the premier educational institution devoted to the success of the entire spectrum of women in law, from first-year law students to the most experienced and accomplished attorneys.” The group engages in thought leadership, advocacy, mentorship and networking designed to address and confront issues facing individual women and the legal profession as a whole, targeting law students, practicing attorneys and judges. As a member of the “Leaders Circle,” McGill joins a select group of CWIL supporters throughout its “Power Circles” initiative. McGill earned her J.D. and MPA from the University of Texas at Austin, both in 1998. To learn more about CWIL, please click here.
