Bell Nunnally Partner Ross A. Williams received the 2024 Todd Steudtner Leadership Award from The Warren Center for his volunteer work. The Warren Center is a nonprofit agency that advocates for, serves and empowers children and families affected by developmental delays and disabilities.
Fifty years ago, few resources were available for parents of children with disabilities in Dallas County. With no access to community-based services or support, families faced significant challenges, and their children had limited opportunities. Since its establishment in 1968, The Warren Center has provided essential resources and care to children with disabilities and their families. Grassroots efforts and demonstrated successes have increased community and parental awareness. As the organization has grown, it has continually adapted its programs to meet the evolving needs of families.
Williams has volunteered with two of The Warren Center’s committees for a year. In the past six months, he has assisted with multiple vital fundraising efforts and provided pro bono legal services to recover a large amount of wrongfully withheld funding from a medical payments provider. These efforts were critical in allowing The Warren Center to continue its mission uninterrupted.
Over the years, The Warren Center has provided parents with access to critical resources for their children, along with hope and support.
